The Metabo 6″ Dual Orbit Sander was designed with an emphasis on almost vibration-free performance. With the intent on having balance, power and longevity. Tools are designed to be tough, rigidity and light weight, using magnesium, engineered plastics and other materials. Orbit mechanisms are engineered with ball and roller bearings to remove the maximum amount of stock while producing minimum vibration. The SXE 450 is a dual orbit, random orbit sander, with alternative settings for very high stock removal, and fine finishing. Many models have integrated dust collection systems. These tools use dust collection bags and punched sandpaper. Random orbit and dual random orbit models also have infinitely variable speed controls. And a complete line of Metabo abrasives is available to fit all of the sanders.
